Job Summary The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer performs and leads testing of multiple large, complex, and strategic software development applications using QA best practices and frameworks. This role provides appropriate and timely status, metrics, and communication to stakeholders. The Senior QA Engineer aids in the identification of continuous process improvement of QA standards, and practices. What you will do Perform the analysis of business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability for multiple strategic software projects. Define the scope, approach, risks, and assumptions for testing. Design, build, and prioritize test cases. - Execute manual and automated testing. Report and communicate test status and metrics to project stakeholders. Lead and/or participates in peer reviews of project deliverables. Work with stakeholders and development to define and develop testing requirements to validate software solutions were built to specifications. Plan, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, both manual and automated. Document and report defects within established process and tracking system. Create automated tests using JMeter for testing REST APIs and other test automation tools such as UFT or Tosca for UI tests. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous monitoring and alerting on failures. What we expect of you Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of full life cycle Software Quality Assurance process experience (requirements analysis, decomposition, test case design, prioritization and risk analysis, test execution, metric reporting, etc.) OR 9 years of full life cycle Software Quality Assurance process experience. Track record of successfully leading multiple large-scale QA projects, including planning, estimating, and prioritizing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders and senior leadership. Experience with the full software development life cycle, testing methodologies, version control systems, and quality assurance. Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills. Experience manually testing APIs, Desktop, and Web applications. Experience in designing and implantation of Software Quality Assurance standards and practices. Involvement in an Agile Environment, preferable utilizing SAFe Agile methodologies, a plus. Background utilizing JMeter or similar tools for automated API testing, a plus. Pay range: $103,000 – 151,400 depending on experience and skill set. Annual bonus target 5% subject to terms and conditions of plan.
